State of the Channel (End of 2025)

Thanks for a wonderful year! I'm stoked to see what 2026 brings.

Here's the channel's new mission statement:

Ontology Explained is a place that provides clear, interesting, and edifying discussions about topics involving philosophy and artificial intelligence.

It is a passion project for Casey, who partly justifies the hobby to his wife as it drums up some consulting work, makes him happy, and makes him better at his 'real' job.

And my goal:

In 2026, I want to make the product good enough that it has a credibility, quality, and audience that COULD let it grow beyond just a hobby.
