Labelled Property Graphs (LPGs)

In this video, I walk through the basics of Labelled Property Graphs. I use arrows.app to create an example featuring Mario to show where the L, P, and G come from.

We review the oft-cited benefits of LPGs (with the caveat that I don't necessarily agree with them!).

We also compare this with OWL/RDF ontologies, which excel at representing rich semantics, global identity, and reasoning.

Key takeaway: LPGs are great for rapid data loading and flexible querying, but OWL/RDF is more suited for formal semantics and knowledge representation.
